Yasuda Kōichi

Nonfiction writer whose work focuses on social issues. Born in 1964. Received the Kōdansha Nonfiction Award in 2012 for Netto to aikoku (The Internet and Patriotism), which warned of a rise in hate speech. Other works include Danchi to imin (Public Housing Projects and Immigration), and Jishin to gyakusatsu 1923–2024 (Earthquakes and Atrocities: 1923–2024).
