Yanagibashi Kan

Freelance writer, born in 1971. After graduating from the University of Tokyo, joined Bungei Shunjū and later went freelance. Began reporting on Studio Ghibli when interviewing producer Suzuki Toshio for a Bunshun series of books presenting Ghibli stories with images from the movies. Played an important role in the composition of books like Jiburi no nakamatachi (Friends at Ghibli) and Tensai no shikō: Takahata Isao to Miyazaki Hayao (The Thought of Geniuses: Takahata Isao and Miyazaki Hayao) by Suzuki Toshio.
