Freelance writer. Spent eight years editing engineering texts at a publishing house before embarking on a career as a freelance journalist and editor. Writes about science, technology, and medicine for scientific and medical magazines and online news services. Completed Waseda University’s Master of Arts Program for Journalist Education in Science and Technology (MAJESTY). Member of the Japanese Association of Science and Technology Journalists.
