Uchida Muneharu

Freelance writer. Born in 1957. Graduated from Waseda University with a degree in psychology. Worked for publisher Jitsugyō no Nihonsha, where his duties included writing for an economics magazine and editing travel guides. Works include Gaikokujin ga mita nihon: gokai to saihakken no kankō 150 nenshi (Japan Through Foreign Eyes: Misunderstanding and Rediscovery over 150 Years of Tourism) and Kantō daishinsai to tetsudō (Railways and the Great Kantō Earthquake).
