Toba Kōji

Professor at Waseda University, where he specializes in modern Japanese literature and postwar cultural movements. Born in Tokyo in 1968. Graduated with a degree in literature from Hokkaidō University. Acquired his doctorate in literature at Waseda University. Works include Undōtai/Abe Kōbō (Social Movement: Abe Kōbō), 1950 nendai: Kiroku no jidai (The 1950s: The Age of Recording), and Abe Kōbō: Keshigomu de kaku (Abe Kōbō: Writing with an Eraser).
