Suzuki Yoshikatsu
Journalist and research fellow at the Japan Forum on International Relations. Joined the Political Affairs Department at Jiji Press after graduating from Waseda University. Served two stints in the United States, one in Washington DC and the other as bureau chief in New York. Also served as editor-in-chief of the journal Gaikō (Diplomacy). Currently a visiting fellow at the Fujitsu Future Studies Center. Works include Nihon no senryaku gaikō (Japan’s Strategic Diplomacy) and Hoppō ryōdo kōshōshi (History of Negotiations on the Northern Territories). Co-author of Seiji komyunikēshon gairon (The Dynamics of Political Communication).
