Shimazaki Hidezumi

Born in Tokyo in 1970. Joined Japanese sports publication Weekly Soccer Digest in 2001, focusing on J. League team Urawa Reds. Turned freelance in 2006. Currently works with former Urawa star Fukuda Masahiro in running the web magazine Uraken Plus and affiliated YouTube channel that focuses on the Reds. Began reporting from Germany in 2018. Works include Urawa saisei (Rebuilding Urawa).
