    Food activist and CEO of DRY and PEACE, an organization that advocates for increased usage of kanbutsu (traditional dried foods) and other types of sustainable food. Worked for an international financial institution before becoming interested in food and culture when her daughter was diagnosed with severe food allergies. Since 2002, has organized food educational workshops nationwide, with an emphasis on appealing to all five senses. Received the LOHAS Design Award Grand Prize in 2018 for the Dry Food Curry Day project, which raises money for greening Inner Mongolia. Recent publications include Kanbutsu majikku reshipi (Magic Kanbutsu Recipes).
