Editor-in-chief of The Capital Tribune Japan. Joined Nikkei Business Publications after graduating from Tōhoku University in 1993. Subsequently worked as a fund manager before founding Stock Research in 2000. From 2005 to 2009 worked as a researcher at the Center for Global Communications at the International University of Japan. Founded The Capital Tribune Japan in 2012. Has worked as consultant for the Ministry of Finance and has published several books on investment, primarily in the IT industry.
