Matsushita KazuoMATSUSHITA Kazuo

Earned his economics degree from the University of Tokyo and his MA from Johns Hopkins University. Since 2013, has been professor emeritus at Kyoto University and senior fellow at the Institute for Global Environmental Strategies. He is also chairman of the Japan Society for GNH Studies. Previously worked at the Ministry of the Environment, the Environment Directorate of the OECD, and the United Nations on Conference on Environment and Development. He was a professor of global environmental policy at Kyoto University from 2001 to 2013.
