Kobuchi Akira

Composer and music writer and editor. Born in 1969. After working for retail shops Tower Records and Cisco Records, edited the magazine Black Music Review, serving as editor in chief from 1996 through 2010. His writings include the two-volume City Soul Disc Guide, Hip Hop Definitive 1974–2017, and Gangster Rap Disc Guide.
