Kikkawa Tōru

Professor of sociology, Osaka University, specializing in social statistics. Born in 1966 in Shimane Prefecture. Received his doctorate in social science from Osaka University. Taught at Shizuoka University before assuming his current position in 2014. Author of Nihon no bundan: kirihanasareru hidaisotsu wakamonotachi (Divided Japan: The Marginalization of Young Non–College Graduates) and other works.
