Abe Sayako

Abe Sayako Producer in the Ballet Department at Shinshokan publishers. Editor of the Ballet Channel website and representative director of the On-Pointe ballet and dance events company. Born in Ōita Prefecture. Graduated from Kyūshū University and entered Shinshokan in 2004. In 2009, she became the editor-in-chief of Clara and Croisé, and in 2013, she became the founding editor-in-chief of Dancin’. In 2006, she launched the “Ballet College” lecture series, and in 2007 she launched the specialist ballet website Ballet Channel in 2019. Active as a writer and editor for ballet magazines and performance program’s notes, and contributes to ballet-related media in a wide variety of settings and contexts.
