Voice Acting in Japan

Voice-acting careers are on the rise in Japan today. Live performances by voice actors in groups and as individuals at major concert halls like the Nippon Budōkan are no longer a rarity. Some voice actors also put on live performances overseas. A rising number of young people are aspiring to the profession, in Japan and around the world. A number of these up-and-coming voice actors in Japan are non-Japanese; in this series, we talked with people in the field about their work.
