Pop Group Arashi Celebrates Emperor’s Accession with New Song

A national festival took place outside the Imperial Palace on the afternoon of November 9 to celebrate the accession of Emperor Naruhito to the throne. As part of the event, the pop band Arashi sang a song composed to celebrate the imperial accession at a concert gathering at 5:00 pm at the Imperial Palace Plaza.
This event, put on by the people of the nation, was organized by the Committee to Celebrate His Majesty the Emperor’s Accession to the Throne, which was established by members including a suprapartisan parliamentary group, business federations, and chambers of commerce and industry.
