On the evening of July 29, Tokyo held its famous annual Sumida River Fireworks Festival. The festival was postponed for one day due to Typhoon Jongdari, which swept by the city the day before. Some 20,000 fireworks were set off over the course of the festivities as onlookers standing on the roofs and balconies of nearby buildings enjoyed the spectacle in the evening breeze. (©️ Jiji)
