The Akita Dog Fureai-Dokoro (“touching place”) in Senshū Park, Akita, has a rotating crew of canines that await visitors. One of them is Karen, a female with a snowy white coat. When she lies down, she sometimes arranges her front paws to make a heart mark. Some suggest that those who see this heart will have good luck. How about going to see if it’s true?
