Takino Yūsaku

Book critic. Born in Osaka. Graduated from Keiō University. Joined the magazine staff of a major Japanese publisher, where over 30 years he has edited serialized novels by a number of leading Japanese authors and written feature articles on politics and diplomatic relations. He has travelled throughout Japan for research, building a wide range of connections and developing a strong interest in spy novels and nonfiction along the way.
