Shibata Katsuhiko

Music writer/critic, editor. Born 1957 in Fukuoka Prefecture. A graduate of Kokugakuin University, he played trombone during his school days and worked behind the scenes at the Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra. After working as an editor at a specialist publication and as a publicist for a classical music management company, he became a freelancer, writing for magazines and music programs, editing, and lecturing. Author of Yamamoto Naozumi to Ozawa Seiji (Yamamoto Naozumi and Ozawa Seiji).
