Graduated from Sophia University and launched a career as a freelance food and wine writer, contributing frequently to such food and lifestyle magazines as Dancyu and Sarai. Author of Ai to jōnetsu no Nihonshu (For the Love of Nihonshu), Nihonshu doramatikku (Nihonshu Dramatique), and other works.
