Musicologist. Completed graduate studies in musicology at Kunitachi College of Music. Publications include Takemitsu Tōru: Aru sakkyokuka no shōzō (Takemitsu Tōru: Portrait of a Composer), winner of the Music Pen Club Award. Translated Peter Burt’s Music of Toru Takemitsu and The Music of Joji Yuasa by Luciana Galliano. She also served as editor on The Complete Works of Takemitsu Tōru and The Music of Hayashi Hikaru .
