Naruo MasatakaNARUO Masataka

Chief executive of Aeru, an insurance broker, and executive director of the Kumamoto SDGs Promotion Foundation. Born in Kumamoto Prefecture in 1958. Graduated from Waseda University in 1982 and joined the Kumamoto prefectural government. From 2010, he focused on promoting Kumamoto products in Japan, heading prefectural branch offices in Osaka and Tokyo and serving as director of the Ginza Kumamoto-kan antenna shop and publicity facility. Left his post in 2019 and launched Aeru. Author of Kumamon no himitsu (The Secret Behind Kumamon) and Kumamon no seikō hosoku (Kumamon’s Rules for Success).
