Murohashi Hirokazu

Freelance writer. Born in 1974. Worked for a weekly publication in Japan before moving to Thailand, where he spent 10 years reporting on South and Southeast Asia for a local Japanese-language information magazine. His current focus is on telling the cross-cultural stories of Japanese living abroad in Asia and Asians who call Japan home. Works include Rupo Shin-Ōkubo: Imin zensen toshi o aruku (Exploring Shin-Ōkubo: A Look at a Neighborhood on the Frontline of Immigration), Nihon no ikoku (Foreign Japan), and Otona no seishun ryokō (A Grown-up’s Youthful Journey).
