Kondō Yūki
Nonfiction writer. Born in Tokyo in 1976. After obtaining his master’s degree, Kondō left Japan in 2003, accompanied by his wife, to spend more than five years living and travelling through Australia, Southeast Asia, China, and Eurasia, all the time supporting himself by contributing articles to Japanese periodicals. Since returning to Japan has been based in Kyoto. Chiefly covers nonfiction and science topics. Books include Kitsuon (My Life as a Stammerer), Yūboku fūfu (Nomadic Married Life), and Tabi ni deyō (Let’s Go Travel). Part-time lecturer at Ōtani University and Kyoto University of the Arts and member of scientific writing group Team Pascal.
