    Kasaya Kazuhiko

    Professor at Osaka Gakuin University and professor emeritus at the International Research Center for Japanese Studies. Specializes in Japanese history and the nation’s warrior society. Born in 1949. Completed graduate studies in history at Kyoto University. Obtained his current position in 2018 after working as professor at the International Research Center for Japanese Studies. Has been visiting professor at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, Peking University, and the University of Paris. Key works include Sekigahara kassen to Osaka no jin (Battle of Sekigahara and the Osaka Campaign), Dentō bunka to gurōbarizēshon (Traditional Culture and Globalization), and Bushidō no seishinshi (Intellectual History of Bushidō).
