Itō ShingoITŌ Shingo

Born in 1970. Joined the Fuji Research Institute in 1993. Was a visiting associate research fellow at the Taiwan Institute of Economic Research in 2001–3. Transferred to Mizuho Research Institute in 2002 as senior economist and headed up the China Unit. Took up his current position as senior economist at the Institute for International Economic Studies in 2018. Specializes in economic research on China and Taiwan.
