Wu Junhua

Senior research counselor at the Japan Research Institute. Earned her degree in Japanese studies at Fudan University in Shanghai before finishing doctoral research in East Asian studies at the University of Tokyo. Joined JRI in 1990, serving in positions including chief economist at the Hong Kong Branch, chairwoman and chief economist at JRI Shanghai Consulting Co., and research director at JRI. Has also been a senior scholar at the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars.
